Hinton Employment and Learning Place operates the Person First Employment Program for Persons with Disabilities in Hinton and Grande Cache. We provide employment workshops on employability including the following topics:
- Resume writing
- Interview skills
- Cover letter development
- Job search
- Online applications
- Basic computer skills
- Essential skills training
- Assertiveness
- Anger control
- Workplace stress
We also hold a weekly job seekers club, every Wednesday at noon. You can get a referral through Alberta Supports, or just give us a call to get started.
Hinton Employment and Learning Place also facilitates the Workplace Training Program in Edson, Hinton and Grande Cache, which provides subsidized training and wages for eligible people.
